Agwest Veterinary Group is a collaborative team of veterinarians striving to provide quality care for all small ruminant species.
We have a long history of treating these species and are happy to offer our services to farms of any size. From large sheep or goat operations down to hobby goats, sheep or camelids, we see them all. Click on a section below to learn more about what we offer!
General Herd & Flock Consulting:
- Overall herd assessment for sheep flocks and goat or camelid herds.
- Deworming protocols and flock or herd parasite evaluation.
- Scrapie program certification.
- Facility assessment and recommendations.
- Phone consultation regarding basic small ruminant questions.
Reproduction Services
Agwest has a long history of providing reproductive services for cattle, horses and small ruminants. We are happy to service large farms, hobby farms and pet sheep and goats. We currently offer the following services:
- Breeding consultation.
- Pregnancy diagnosis of bred sheep, goats and camelids.
- Nutritional consultation for bred sheep, goats and camelids.
- Birthing strategies and preventative care.
- 24hour emergency services.
In the future we hope to offer a small ruminant artificial insemination program, stay tuned!
Medicine & Surgery
Agwest is a full-service ambulatory practice that offers a comprehensive package of veterinary services to keep the individual sheep and goat healthy. With multiple veterinarians on staff, we are available 24hours a day to assist a farm with any service that may be required. We are proud to offer services including:
